Sierra

Sierra On-line (later just Sierra) was one of the main innovators in early graphic adventures. They are best known for the King's Quest series, which broke new ground in 1984 by making the graphics into an integral part of the game rather than a mere illustrations accompanying text. The company still exists, but they sold their adventure game division to Codemasters in 1999.
