The Vial of Doom

Author:Roger M. Wilcox
Genre:Fantasy
Released:1983
Review:

Another old and cheesy little text adventure. You have to gather the rare ingredients for a potion that will let you destroy the Vial of Chaos. As is typical of the really old games, it doesn't stick to one milieu - to get to the island of the basilisk, for instance, you first have to slip past the security guards at the airport. Requires some unlikely actions, so using the "help" command (or reading the source code) is a must. On the positive side, there's some nice re-use of geography towards the end.
